Vertical insulated stainless steel tank, working capacity 5,548 gallons (21,000 liters). NEW - still at factory in China. Tank is stainless 316 with insulation and ss304 cladding. Tanks are designed for and built to ASME at an internal design pressure 7.5 bar (112.5 psig) and a working pressure of 6.5 bar (94.25 psig) although they are not certified by ASME. On legs for OAH 7892 mm (25.9 ft). Flange connections are metric 200mm pipe RF flange. Side 500mm manhole. Tanks were for a project that wasn't built. On factory floor now as surplus, ready to ship. - Tank size is 11 ft - 9 in diameter x 36 ft tall with 1/4 inch wall.
- All tanks have a top mounted radar level detector and transmitter
- Flat bottom/slight cone top with gooseneck vent.
- Designed as atmospheric tanks to UL 142 specification for above ground, flammable liquid storage tanks.
- Tank design by Agri Process Innovations (API) as part of the biodiesel plant design. See drawing in Document Link
- 10 tanks total: One tank is not insulated and stored methanol. The other 9 tanks stored vegetable oil feedstock or B100 biodiesel.
- 9 tanks have insulation, side entering agitator, and side entering immersion heater. They are insulated with aluminum cladding and have a side entering Chromalox electric unitary immersion heater and a ProChem side entering agitator. Chromalox heater is 6 KW 480v 3/60. Catalog number RST0X-10806XX, part number 157-122216-082.
Shipping dimensions are approx 12.5 ft x 12.5 ft x 38 ft long. Approx weight on non-insulated tank is 15,000 pounds. Approx weight of each insulated tank is 22,000 pounds. We have priced for the LOT of 10 but are open to selling in smaller quantities.
