Complete bleaching plant with a capacity of 160 MTPD (15,000 #/hr). Includes vacuum bleacher, 2 stage ejector system, (2) Industrial 450 sq ft horizontal pressure leaf filters, slurry tanks, earth feeders, and pumps. Built 1981 - Very Good condition. Physical Refinery System   70 TPD Stainless Steel    Item 3177     Malaysia
Complete physical refining system by Wurster & Sanger, located in Malaysia .  Capacity is 70 tons per day (TPD) and was last used for physically refining palm oil.  Originally completed in 1976, it was overhauled in 1984, and mothballed in the mid 90’s.  The plant is in serviceable shape and includes all equipment necessary to run the process.  Major items are Wurster & Sanger deodorizer, vacuum system and scrubber, all intermediate tanks and receivers, intermediate heat exchangers & mixers, pumps, Wurster & Sanger continuous bleaching system and earth handling system & filters.  Has a pneumatic control system.    -->     Component list     Schematic    Special Flyer  (1MB)

Deodorizer   60 TPD  Stainless Steel      Item 4108     Jamaica
Stainless steel deodorizer and physical refining system rated for 60 mtpd (5,500 #/hr). Two deodorizing/refining units, deaerator, scrubber system. Votator deodorizer complete system with vacuum system. Chemtron deodorizing vessel with Super Tray - 1980 - was in operation through July 2007 and in good condition. Shell and trays are in good shape (4 trays all 316 stainless). Vacuum system was upgraded to a 3 stage Kinema circa 1986 - pulls good vacuum. Heating tray is designed for Dowtherm heat medium, but can be retrofitted with coils for high pressure steam. Deodorizer rated for 10,000 but can operate up to 13,000 pounds per hour.

Deodorizer 150 TPD      Item 3066      2 complete systems, same location in Texas
Votator deodorizer system rated at 15,000 pounds per hour. Complete system including superstructure, valves, piping, and controls. Most controls are TI 575 plc. 5 tray semi-continuous deodorizer system with external oil cooler. Includes scrubber system and distillate recovery, new citric acid metering system. System uses Dowtherm as heating media but can be converted to high pressure steam if desired. See ITEM 3067 for Dowtherm boiler. Vacuum system is a 2 stage steam ejector with vacuum pump assist for good vacuum. Built in 1975, but complete system underwent an extensive rebuild in 1995 and new style wafer drop valves were installed, The deodorizer is still installed, and was running until Dec 2003. Deodorizer  200 TPD Stainless Steel       Item 4036     Mexico
Deodorizer system 180 MT/day (16,530 pounds/hr), upgraded in 1997 to 200 tpd. Stainless steel shell and trays. Fratelli Gianazza S.p.A., Model Dovert CS-7 (upgraded to 200 mtpd). Vacuum pulls to 5 Torr (5mm Hg absolute). Has Multitherm thermal oil system for heating, and polish filters.

Deodorizer System 270 TPD  Stainless Steel     Item 4541     Jacksonville, IL
Continuous Deodorizer System rated at 25,000 pounds per hour or 272 tons per day. The 316 stainless steel continuous deodorizer is a Johnson-Loft design at 25,000 pounds per hour based on an empty/fill interchanger heat exchanger economizer system. The cooling tray provides the steam for the vacuum ejectors. Vacuum is designed for 2.5mm Hg and pulls about 2mm. High pressure steam boiler provides the process steam. Fully automated system - local instruments included, instrument loops & plc not included. This system is still in operation. Built in 1991.  -->  Component List       Schematic

Deodorizer  300 TPD     Item 3499     Oklahoma City
Johnson Loft Deodorizer  200 TPD up to 300 Tons per day. Serial 0-581. Built in 1987. Four (4) Stainless steel trays. Carbon steel shell. External heater made for thermal fluid heating, includes shell and tube exchangers for heating (in) and trim cooling (out). External Cooler with 2 economizer Alfa Laval spiral interchangers. 4 stage steam ejector vacuum system capable of pulling down to 3mm Hg absolute. Designed to run 20,000 pounds/hour modified to run 40,000 pounds/hour. Currently runs 33,000-35,000 pounds/hour. Process was running until Aug 2004 - still installed. Fractionation system - manufactured by DeSmet. Includes (6) vertical ss crystallizers and Filox membrane filter (made in Germany) with 18 plates polypropylene. Built 2000. Capacity 5 MTPD OUTPUT based on 2nd Fractionation = 2.5 million pounds product + 1.5 million pounds by-product. Capacity will vary depending on type of operation and oil. Designed to produce 100MTPD of winterized soybean oil, and 11.1 MTPD of stearine. Filter upgrade in 1991.
